Description
Background
A variety of psilocybe cubensis called Malabar Coast mushrooms originated on the southwest coast of India. These fungi have been around for ages and were once referred to as “food of the gods.” They have medium to above average potency and produce best in warmer climates.
Physical Properties
Mushrooms from the Malabar Coast are distinguished by their deep golden-brown hue. The stems are often slightly thinner than typical, with some mushrooms having stems that are much thinner. Their stems are lengthy, and their small, spherical, medium-thick caps have a medium thickness. The stems of these mushrooms may also have a few bluish or brown patches. Although they are often made from grains when grown organically, they are naturally found on elephant faeces. They may be referred to be “food of the gods,” yet their flavor and aroma are unmistakably fungal and earthy.
Experience
Depending on the dosage, Malabar Coast mushrooms provide a distinct sensation. The mushrooms offer a euphoric, mood-lifting impact in small doses that finally results in cozy relaxation. The strain has been used to treat insomnia, anxiety, and depression. Malabar Coast mushrooms have potent sense-altering effects at larger doses that can result in a profoundly spiritual journey.
